All Adult dancers are very welcome.

All dancers are treated as independent dancers (school identification is not necessary or recognised)   except in the case of figure dancing where your group can be identified as a school of dancing or ceili club or other group.

Syllabus:  

Age Groups

• Under 21
• under 25
• Under 30
• Under 35
• Under 40
• Under 50
• Over 50

Dancers are required to be 18 years of age on day of feis  to take part in the Senior Clare Feis.

Beginner /Primary/ Intermediate/ and Open Grade  Dances in all Age Groups as follows:

Reel/ Light Jig/Slip Jig/Single Jig/Treble Jig/ Hornpipe (Trad Hornpipe in beginner grade)/ Traditional Set of choice.

Premierships in all age groups:

• Beginner Premierships in all age groups: Reel and Light Jig or Treble Jig
• Primary Premierships in all age groups: Reel and Light Jig or Treble Jig
• Intermediate Premierships in all age groups:  Reel or Slip Jig and Traditional Set of choice

Please Note: Dancers are required to be the appropriate grade in all dances required to be performed for a premiership.

Open Championships in all age groups:   Reel or Slip Jig  and  modern set dance or traditional set dance of choice.

Figures:  Open age Group:  2 hand,  3 hand, 4 hand, 6 hand, and 8 hand  (mixed and unmixed competitions)

Entry Fee

• €5 solo and figure dances
• €10 premierships and championships.

32 bars will be danced in all solo dances (with the exception of Trad Sets and Modern Sets)

Closing Date for Entries: 4th March 2015.
